Tour Itinerary

  • Arrival: Land at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. The high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft) necessitates acclimatization.
  • Rest and Acclimatization: Spend the day relaxing to adjust to the altitude.
  • Leisure Evening: Explore the Leh Market, and enjoy a serene evening at the Shanti Stupa or Leh Palace.
  • Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Leh.
  • Visit:
    • Magnetic Hill: Experience the optical illusion of vehicles moving uphill on their own.
    • Gurudwara Pathar Sahib: A sacred place built in honor of Guru Nanak.
    • Sangam Point: Witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
    • Alchi Monastery: One of the oldest Buddhist monasteries, famous for its wall paintings.
  • Return: Head back to Leh by evening.
  • Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Leh.
  • Khardung La Pass: Drive through one of the world’s highest motorable roads (18,380 ft).
  • Diskit Monastery: Visit the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the Nubra Valley.
  • Hunder Sand Dunes: Enjoy a ride on the double-humped Bactrian camels and witness the desert amidst the Himalayas.
  • Overnight: Stay at a camp/hotel in Nubra Valley.
  • Scenic Drive: Travel to Pangong Lake, passing through the stunning Shyok River route.
  • Pangong Lake: Arrive at the iconic Pangong Tso, a breathtaking saltwater lake, known for its changing shades of blue.
  • Evening: Relax by the lake, take in the stunning views, and enjoy a peaceful evening.
  • Overnight: Stay at a camp near Pangong Lake.
  • Return Drive: After breakfast, head back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), the third-highest motorable road in the world.
  • Thiksey Monastery: On the way back, stop to visit this 12-story monastery resembling the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
  • Shey Palace: Explore this ancient palace en route to Leh.
  • Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Leh.

Airport Drop: After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Ladakh.
